Construction Laborer in Geneva, New York

CONSTRUCTION LABORER POSITION (Geneva, NY)
Compensation: Compensation will be based on experience.
Nardozzi Companies has a position available immediately for a skilled laborer in the field of site construction.
Primary Responsibilities: Will be responsible for cleaning and preparing construction sites for the various projects. Unloads and loads materials, read plans and specifications, tends machines, mixes concrete, pours concrete, and assists carpenters, operating engineers, and other construction site workers.
Responsibilities for Construction & Landscaping
? Assist in building structures for residential, business, and construction sites.
? Be able to lift 75 lbs. on a regular basis
? Work underground in tunnels and sewer systems.
? Remove trees and debris.
? Mix concrete.
? Pump concrete, grout, cement, sand, or plaster.
? Installation of retaining walls.
? Set brick pavers, stamp concrete, etc.
? Decorate gardens with stones and plants.
? Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing and removing thatch, and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls.
? Assist construction managers.
? Read blueprints and designs (preferred).
? Install traffic control devices.
? Clear and prepare highway work zones.
? Dig trenches.
? Install sewer, water, and storm drainpipes.
? Pour concrete and asphalt onto roads.
? Operate laser guidance equipment to place pipes.
? Operate air, electric, and pneumatic drills.
? Remove hazardous materials.
? Operate pavement breakers; jackhammers; earth tampers; concrete, mortar, and plaster mixers.
Experience: All applicants should have experience in the fields of asphalt paving and concrete work. Having experience with site construction is a plus. Applicants who have a CDL and experience with equipment operation are also a plus.
Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. This position frequently requires long hours and weekend work.
